| I heard Ms. Bettman speak in Greensboro, NC at EM Today. I was only planning on attending one of her seminars but after hearing the first I decided to attend the second. Ms. Bettman's "The Forest Needs to Burn" was very adaptable to many different aspects of our profession in EMS, even including mine in education. I could also see where she is applicable to many different organizations and industries. After listening to Ms. Bettman I was able to apply many of the principles of leadership, crisis management, and stress to not only my current career as an education coordinator but also my personal life. I would recommend Ms. Bettman to anyone who is struggling with issues in leadership, crisis, or change whether they be current or anticipated. What I liked most about Ms. Bettman was she was able to get my thinking outside of the box without ever talking about a box. |  | Rated On:
