Innovator, author, industry leader, and recognized expert are only a few words that describe Gregory Evans. Providing a helpful service to the public has always been at the forefront of Mr. Evans’s mind. It was this passion that led him to create LIGATT Security 6 years ago.

Along with being a successful business owner, Gregory Evans is a notable business educator. He has taught hi-tech crime continuing education courses and has spoken at a plethora of community colleges, universities and city government facilities. Such courses range from Computer Crime Investigation and Identity Theft, to Password Cracking and Recovery. Some of these schools include Concordia College, Chaffey College, and Santa Monica City College.

As a successful entrepreneur, Evans believes in giving back to the community. He is the winner of two Humanitarian Awards. In 2002, Evans was awarded the NAACP Humanitarian Award for his outstanding contributions to the community and again in 2010 by the National Sales Network. To add, Evans has provided two young women with scholarships to college as a result of their hard work and commitment to their education.

Mr. Evans’s expertise is frequently featured on a variety of media outlets including: The History Channel’s “Modern Marvels”. On the program, he demonstrated the capabilities of computer surveillance and the destruction of cyber terrorism, as well as discussed how spyware works and taught viewers how to protect their wireless networks. Evans has also been consulted on the highly rated, NBC’s Dateline “To Catch a Predator”. He has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines including the Wall Street Journal, Sun Newspaper, LA Times, USA Today, and Black Enterprise, to name a few. In 2010, the Anti Terrorism Accreditation Board awarded Evans a Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist Certificate.
