Coaching is a powerful management tool to help employees realize their career aspirations. Coaching skills are becoming critical management competencies as organizations prepare a new generation of leaders, using fewer financial, human, and training resources. When managers and supervisors master the art of coaching, their relationships with their direct reports are strengthened – and that often translates to increased company loyalty and enhanced motivation among those reports.
10 Steps to Successful Coaching is an engaging, customizable presentation meant to help managers embrace their roles as a coaches, to understand their existing coaching skills, and to provide an overview of the 10 steps that are part of a coaching relationship and that are the focus of the presenter's book of the same title. 10 Steps to Successful Coaching can be presented to groups as small as 10 and as large as 100. All presentations, regardless of size or length, include coaching exercises that allow participants to experience the power of coaching firsthand.
