| | "On Being Boomer & Beyond" ’60 MAY BE the new 40", But it takes some planning to live long and love it" | | | Long-term care is an essential part of everyone's personal financial plan if you want your retirement portfolio to be properly executed for the purpose of a comfortable retirement. As people prepare to live longer than in past generations, planning for long term care is more critical than ever. Nobody wants to talk about the issues, but let's face it -"none of us are getting out of here alive", so you might as well plan well, live long, be healthy, and most of all be happy enough with your lot in life that you can talk about it, laugh about it, and sleep well at night knowing that you made some of the right choices when you had options. As a long term care insurance expert, she speaks with business groups, civic organizations, and is part of the Palm Beach Community College Boomer Institute Speaker Series. She writes a regular monthly column for the Deerfield Beach Observer News and Observernewpaperonline and is a frequent speaker for numerous senior centers and their caregiver groups. Additionally, she is an instructor/moderator for the Florida Department of Financial Services to teach continuing education classes to licensed insurance agents on long term care insurance topics. |
